Terms of Service

cs2.sh is operated by Open Mesa Corporation ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the cs2.sh website and the cs2.sh API (together, "the Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The service#

cs2.sh collects publicly observable market data for Counter-Strike 2 items from third-party marketplaces, normalizes it, and serves it through an HTTP API and this website. The data consists of market observations such as listing prices, buy orders, sale prices, and volumes, plus derived aggregates like OHLC history and indexes.

Not affiliated with Valve or any marketplace#

cs2.sh is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the marketplaces whose prices it reports, including BUFF163, Youpin898, C5Game, CSFloat, Skinport, and the Steam Community Market.

Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike 2, and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Marketplace names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and appear on this site only to identify where price observations come from. Item names and item imagery are the property of Valve Corporation.

Subscriptions and billing#

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard, and access continues to the end of the paid period. We may change plan prices or limits with reasonable advance notice, with changes applying from your next billing period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. If a charge looks wrong, contact us and we will sort it out.

Demo and trial keys are provided as a courtesy, may be limited in scope, and can be modified or revoked at any time.

Fair use and rate limits#

Each plan has request rate limits. Do not evade them, including by creating multiple accounts or pooling keys across parties. If your usage degrades the Service for others, we may throttle it while we contact you.

Use of the data#

You may use data obtained through the Service in your own applications, tools, analyses, models, and publications, including commercial ones. You may not resell or redistribute the data itself as a standalone dataset, include it in another API, data feed, or similar competing data product, or otherwise build a product whose primary value is re-serving cs2.sh data. Attribution is appreciated but not required.

Acceptable use#

Do not use the Service to break the law, disrupt or overload our infrastructure, probe or breach its security, or misrepresent the origin of the data. The API is the supported access path. Do not scrape the website.

Availability and accuracy#

We work to keep the Service fast, accurate, and continuously available, but it is provided without uptime or accuracy guarantees. Upstream marketplaces change, rate limit, block, or disappear, and coverage of any given source can degrade or end. We may change or discontinue parts of the Service and will make reasonable efforts to give notice when a change is significant.

Intellectual property#

The Service, including the website, documentation, API design, and derived datasets, belongs to Open Mesa Corporation. These terms give you no rights in it beyond the access described above.

Termination#

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, non-payment, or abuse. You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits, survive.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability#

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Open Mesa Corporation is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms#

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at cs2.sh/terms. Significant changes are announced on the website or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
